On July 15th, 2021 Taka Nakamura, one of the consultants at Washington CORE, spoke as a presenter and panelist at a webinar, held by JETRO, focusing on the role of startups as a global business catalyst, how a healthy business ecosystem is needed to attract start-ups. He also touched upon emerging technologies during the coronavirus pandemic and how startups played a major role in developing and deploying these technologies. There were many questions from the audience, including reasons why the US has a strong start up culture, and how to create a nurturing business environment for startups.
